Presentation: Music Exploration Through Play- May 07th, 2011

Music is our first language, it universal and inclusive. We all begin our lives knowing how to play using sound, movement, and voice. When do we first perceive music?  How and when does our culture influence our experience of music?  How can we as caregivers and educators use music to joyfully connect with our children? This workshop invites participants to explore musical play through movement, sound, and voice.

Making Tomorrow Conference Presentations:  May  1st 2010

2) Finding Your Muse-Creativity Explored

We know that children enter the world their own unique creativity and joy. Often, as we get older, our creativity is not expressed and we are some times not aware of our own gifts. How can we inspire and support creative learning in the children we educate if we ourselves are not creatively inspired? This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to explore their own personal creativity through music, movement, voice, and dramatic play.
